About Paneltech
Paneltech was founded in February 1996 to serve
the forest products markets, utilizing competencies
acquired in over 80 years of international industry
experience by the founders. Today, Paneltech
manufactures products for and provides logistical
and services for customers world-wide.
Paneltech's headquarters is located in Hoquiam,
Washington. Our facilities include a 25,000 square
foot manufacturing plant, several warehouses, and
numerous owned or affiliated log reload yards.
Paneltech's management has collective experience
in nearly all facets of the forest products
industry including timberlands, solid wood
products, engineered products, and pulp and paper
products.
Operating Philosophy
Paneltech prides itself in a line of products
that have been fully tested and proven over time
for specific applications. In addition, because
process conditions vary significantly from customer
to customer, Paneltech is able to adjust the basic
product formulations slightly to accommodate each
mill's unique requirements. Further, Paneltech will
develop proprietary platforms that take full
advantage of your mill's unique process
strengths.
Paneltech prides itself in a culture of
responsiveness and willingness to serve its
customers.
Business Guidelines
- Learn all we can about our customers' needs
so we can do everything in our power to provide
it.
- Give customers direct access to Paneltech
managers who have the skills, the tools and the
authority to quickly act to solve their
problems.
- Custom tailor overlay and saturated media
solutions to customers' needs. Become a partner
in (not an obstacle to) their efforts to enhance
their competitiveness.
- Reward loyalty with loyalty.
- Improve processing efficiencies to enhance
customer options.
- Develop the cleanest and "greenest"
manufacturing process possible.
Our Home
The city of Hoquiam is located in the Olympic
Peninsula, home to Olympic National Park and a land
of rugged coastline, glacier capped peaks, and rain
forests populated with huge trees and abundant
wildlife. The tri-cities of Aberdeen, Hoquiam, and
Cosmopolis are located in the southwest corner of
the Olympic Peninsula at Grays Harbor, where the
Chehalis River meets the Pacific Ocean. Grays
Harbor is home to numerous large manufacturing
concerns, most of which are related in some way to
the forest products industry. Raw materials are
abundant from nearby commercial timberlands. The
Port of Grays Harbor is a transportation hub where
ocean vessels meet rail and truck lines which are
convenient to the nearby I-5 corridor.
